Worming

STOP wasting your money on unnecessary dewormers. STOP exposing your Scotties to unnecessary chemicals. Put that money towards providing your Scottie with a natural healthy diet and you will not have to worry about worms ever again!

Your Scottie puppy should have been wormed at 2, 4 and 6 weeks of age. If they are healthy they are able to repel and eliminate worms all by themselves. It is the pharmaceutical firms that scaremonger pet owners into administering chemical dewormers over and over again when our pets most often don't even have worms. (Special note: Dogs that are not healthy, dogs with compromised immune systems, are the susceptible ones. It's like everything else, a few bad eggs ruin it for everyone!)

It is up to you to monitor your Scottie and keep an eye out for any signs that they may have worms. However, providing a healthy diet supporting their immune system is the best insurance policy against worms. It is a far better option to keep puppy healthy and support their natural immune systems through good nutrition and healthy environment, rather than using deworming drugs that all have side effects.

I feed my Scotties a BARF (Bone And Raw Food) mix that I prepare myself. I include in their meals supplements including:

  • Turmeric & pepper

  • Parsley

  • Sauerkraut

  • Ground pumpkin seeds

  • Raw egg

I add to meals at serving time:

  • Garlic

  • Coconut oil

  • Apple Cider Vinegar

Guess what!

My Scotties never get worms!

They never get dirty or itchy ears

They never get itchy skin

They never get fleas

They never go to the vet.

So is it worth spending a little bit more time, effort and money on their diet, I think so!
